What academic pathways does digiTIES offer?

digiTIES offers college-prep pathways inside its accredited program for grades 1-12. The two named advanced options are Advanced Placement (AP) and Accelerate ASU. Accelerate ASU runs as a dual-enrollment program through Arizona State University. These pathways serve different purposes. In addition, both sit alongside Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.

What is the AP (Advanced Placement) pathway?

Advanced Placement offers recognized college-level coursework. Through AP, digiTIES students take rigorous courses while still in high school. AP stands on its own as a pathway. It also differs from Accelerate ASU.

What is Accelerate ASU, and how is it different from AP?

Accelerate ASU is a dual-enrollment program through Arizona State University. It lets digiTIES students take university coursework. However, it differs from Advanced Placement. AP and Accelerate ASU are separate offerings, and dual enrollment through ASU is not the same as AP. So families should view the two as parallel, independent options.

How do the pathways work with Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies?

Every digiTIES pathway includes Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies. Students do not set aside their faith to take advanced academics. Instead, we deliver the college-prep curriculum and the Islamic program together. So a student in AP or Accelerate ASU keeps Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies in the same program.

Where have digiTIES students been accepted?

digiTIES graduates have earned acceptances to strong institutions. These include the University of Kansas, Drexel University, and Houston Community College, and more. As a result, these acceptances show the strength of our accredited, college-prep pathways.
