Policy Overview

Purpose & Statement

digiTIES is committed to transparent, fair, and clearly communicated financial policies. This policy establishes tuition payment schedules, fee structures, late payment procedures, and financial assistance information. All enrolled families are required to review and sign the Financial Agreement Document at enrollment and re-enrollment each year.

Scope & Who This Applies To

This policy applies to all enrolled families, both full-time and part-time students. All financial obligations referenced in this policy are detailed further in the individual Financial Agreement Document signed at enrollment.

Tuition Schedule

Payment Schedule

  • Tuition is due in full prior to the start of the academic year (or semester) of enrollment.
  • Tuition payment plans are available (monthly, three installments, per course)
  • Three installments plan: Tuition is divided into three installments due August 1st, November 1st, and February 1st.
  • Monthly plan: Tuition is divided into 9 monthly payments for the academic year, plus a non-refundable enrollment deposit (registration fee + curriculum fee + technology fee).
  • Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month.
  • Tuition is due regardless of absences, school closures, Islamic holidays, weather-related closures, or technical outages.
  • The full tuition schedule for the current academic year is provided in the Financial Agreement Document at enrollment.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Online payment through SIS (preferred)
  • ACH
  • Personal check (payable to digiTIES)

Returned checks due to insufficient funds incur a $35 fee, automatically added to the family account.

Fees

Non-Refundable Fees

  • Enrollment/Registration Fee — due before the student’s first day; non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Curriculum Fee — due before the student’s first day; non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Technology Fee — due before the student’s first day; non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Re-Enrollment Deposit — due by the spring re-enrollment deadline; non-refundable.

Late Payment Fees

  • If tuition payment is not received by the 15th of the month, a late fee of $10 per day is added for each day the payment remains overdue.
  • If the account is not paid in full within 5 business days after the 15th of the month, the student may be suspended from school access.
  • The student will not be permitted to return until the full outstanding balance is paid.

Special Activity Fees

From time to time, additional fees may be associated with special activities, events, or field trips. These fees are communicated to families in advance and are due prior to the event.

Withdrawal — Financial Implications

  • Written withdrawal notice must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • Failure to provide 2 weeks written notice results in an additional charge equivalent to 2 weeks of tuition.
  • Enrollment deposits and registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Tuition payments already made for future months are non-refundable.
  • Books and materials issued to the student are non-returnable.

Financial Assistance

digiTIES may offer tuition assistance or payment plan flexibility on a case-by-case basis for families experiencing financial hardship. Families seeking assistance must:

  1. Submit a written request to the registrar before the start of the academic year or as soon as hardship arises.
  2. Provide documentation of financial circumstances as requested.
  3. Agree to a payment plan in writing before any adjustment takes effect.

Tuition assistance is not guaranteed and is subject to school financial capacity. Assistance agreements do not carry over from year to year.

Family Financial Agreement

All families must sign the digiTIES Financial Agreement Document at enrollment and re-enrollment each year. This document details the specific tuition amounts, payment dates, fee schedule, and late payment consequences for the current school year. The Financial Agreement is a binding agreement between the family and digiTIES.
